Two men worked hard to build a boat. While busy working they both found termites on a board. One of them then wanted to throw the board away but his friend forbade. He said ” " Why was this board thrown away? Right, sweetie. No problem anyway. Just a little bit of termite.”
Because he did not want to disappoint his friend, the board with termites was used to make the boat. After a few days, the boat was completed and can be used to surf the ocean.
But a few years later, the termites apparently laid eggs and hatched. The termites then gnawed at the ship's wood. Even the termites spread everywhere to eat the wood in the hull.
The ship continued to be used and no one noticed until finally, the wood of the boat began to porous. And, when hit by large waves, Water manages to penetrate through cracks and holes in the wood.
Because the rain also often fell heavily, the boat crew was no longer able to drain the water into the boat so that eventually the boat sank. Inside there are valuables and human lives.
....
My dear friend, if only we realized that this great catastrophe actually comes from such a trivial and worthless thing as a board that has been hit by termites. If only when making the boat first the board was thrown away, of course this catastrophe could have been prevented.
And, that is if in reality we are often not aware that the small and trivial mistakes we make sometimes even cause great havoc.
the wise man once said: "Be Careful and save on small expenses. a small leak could sink the ship."
